The Abridged History of Klatu

Whether it is a matter of websites, or flyers or the shingle over the door, people put both their trust and advertising budget into designers. It's no light matter. When someone invests in a website or branding, often it is the only shot they can afford to take towards such. If the website is lackluster, or fails to utilize the array of online features that could help to enrich their communication with customers, there's no budget or awareness for improvement.

The same could be said of signs, logos or advertising campaigns.

It pains me to see a person funnelling their hopes to a designer who isn't going to give the project the consideration it deserves. Websites with no eye to optimization for search engines, cookie cutter signs with no distinct character... sadly, the businesses don't always realize what spectrum of possibility they were denied.

I'm an artist and writer, and have been honing my design skills for as long as I've had pen and paper. The workings of the internet pique my curiosity -- and I've learned how to combine my skills for best effect. Paintings or Photoshop are approached with equal zeal. Simply put: this is what I love to do.

I'll apply that zeal, interest and heart into whatever project we work on together, creating a product we'll both be proud of.
